The principal method of remediation of asbestos contaminated soils is disposal to landfill or capping. However, simply condeming asbestos impacted soils, usually as hazardous waste, is an unncessary expense. Churngold Remediation have a wealth of experience of methods and procedures to segregate the asbestos from the impacted soils. This will either:
Reduce the volume of soil going to landfill
Allow a reduction in the classification of the soils to non-hazardous
Allow the retention of treated soils on site
This will realise savings of at least 30% with greater than 60% achievable when compared to straight disposal to landfill.
