Churngold carries out urgent works at Southmead Hospital
Dave Hall and the team at Churngold recently helped out with an urgent call for help from Bouygues FM to install vital new Chillers at Southmead Hospital, needed to ensure the increased demand for Oxygen during the COVID 19 pandemic could be guaranteed. Works involved designing, casting and curing the slab to take the weight of the new Chillers in only a few days from start to finish, whilst working in line with the new Social Distancing Rules.
Churngold have been working with the Trust, THC and Bouygues FM for the last few years, having taken over from Carillion to complete the recent PFI Infrastructure Works. Churngold MD Andrew Brown said “ It is a real privilege to help out with works like this and support the great work the NHS are doing during the current pandemic. Dave and the boys pulled out all the stops to get this done, even slightly ahead of the required schedule. “
